Problem:
Copy updates are difficult and time-consuming, especially when the same copy is used on multiple screens or pages in a file.
Solution:
Create an in-file content component library.
My contribution:
Using trial and error, my designer and I worked to build a file organization system that allowed for copy to be controlled in a centralized frame.
We pressure-tested our method with several teams, tweaking it to accommodate different needs and working styles.
I presented this method to dozens of teams across the organization.
Though not the point of this example, I also wrote the copy for the feature in the second screenshot.
